I'm a 2nd-year Ph.D student in Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington. I work with Leah Findlater and am a part of the Inclusive Design Lab. My research interests include the intersection of accessibility and human-computer interaction, such as how technology mediates communication and interactions within disabled populations. I am interested in understanding technology use for individuals with visual, hearing, or motor impairments, as well as designing and examining the ethics and social acceptability of devices for these populations.
Prior to starting my Ph.D, I completed my undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego in June 2016, where I earned a B.S. in Cognitive Science, a B.A. in Linguistics, and a Minor in Computer Science.
