I'm a graduate student in Human Centered Design & Engineering (HCDE) at the University of Washington. I work with Leah Findlater and am a part of the Inclusive Design Lab. My research interests include the intersection of accessibility and human-computer interaction, such as how technology mediates communication and interactions within disabled populations. I am interested in understanding technology use for individuals with visual, hearing, or motor impairments, as well as designing and examining the ethics and social acceptability of devices for these populations.
I will complete my Master's in HCDE at the University of Washington in December 2018. My undergraduate degrees are from the University of California, San Diego, where I completed a B.S. in Cognitive Science, a B.A. in Linguistics, and a Minor in Computer Science in June 2016.
